Shipping & Handling

Shipping and Handling charges will be added to each order based on current United Parcel Service (UPS) rates.  These rates are determined based on the size and weight of the order and the shipping address of the customer.  UPS rates are subject to change without prior notice.  Easton Technologies is not responsible or liable for any damage or liabilities arising from shipment.

Tax Information

All orders from Michigan will incur a 6% Michigan Sales tax.  Customers ordering from other states are individually responsible for reporting their Use Tax on their Michigan purchases.

Product Returns Policy

Easton Technologies reserves the sole right to determine if a product may be returned, exchanged, or canceled.  Approved refunds and exchanges are for the product cost only.  Shipping costs will not be refunded or credited for a replacement product.
The return of a New Product sale will be accepted within thirty (30) days of purchase if all of the following conditions are met:
        1. Customer presents printed email receipt or screenshot of their order confirmation page.
        2. Product is returned in original packaging with all components undamaged and unaltered.
        3. Product passes an inspection by Easton Technologies to make sure no damage, alteration or usage has occurred.
        4. Any shipping costs associated with the return is the responsibility of the customer.
        5. A twenty percent (20%) restocking fee will be charged to the customer.


The return of a Refurbished Product sale will be accepted within thirty (30) days of purchase if the following conditions are met:
        1. Customer presents printed email receipt or screenshot of their order confirmation page.
        2. Product is returned with all components undamaged and unaltered.
        3. Product passes an inspection by Easton Technologies to make sure no damage or alteration has occurred.
        4. Any shipping costs associated with the return is the responsibility of the customer.

All Used Products are sold “as is” and sales are final.  Returns will not be accepted.

Warranty Information

Product Sales

Easton Technologies will process all manufacturer warranties on New Products purchased through our company, on your behalf.  A printed email receipt or screenshot of the confirmation page must be presented to initiate a claim.


Refurbished Products are warranted through Easton Technologies for one (1) year from the purchase date.  A printed email receipt or screenshot of the confirmation page must be presented to initiate a claim.

Sales of Used Products are in “as is” condition.  Purchasers agree to not hold Easton Technologies or its staff liable for the quality or performance of used products that are purchased online or in person.

Services

Easton Technologies offers quality warranties to our customers on the repairs we provide.  We care about our customers and want to offer peace of mind when we provide services.

Scope of Warranties

Within the period of the applied warranty, Easton Technologies will repair or replace, free of charge, any part we sold or repaired proving defective in material or workmanship.  This includes bearings, windings, encoders, alignments, and breaks at repair joints.  All warranty repairs must be completed by an Easton Technologies Technician.  All expenses related to replacing or repairing a defective part under the applied warranty shall be assumed by Easton Technologies.

Limitations of Warranty

Exclusions may apply.  If so, it will be discussed in advance of work being completed and will be noted on the invoice.  This warranty does not extend to any losses or damages due to misuse, accident, abuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, unauthorized modification or alteration, use beyond rated capacity, unsuitable power sources or environmental conditions, improper installation, handling, maintenance, or application, natural disasters, or any other cause not the fault of Easton Technologies.

Neither Easton Technologies or its suppliers shall be liable, whether in contract, in tort, or under any other legal theory, for loss of use, revenue, or profit, for cost of capital or of substitute use or performance, for incidental, indirect, or special or consequential damages, for any other loss or cost of similar type, or for claims by Purchaser for damages of Purchaser’s customers.

Likewise, Easton Technologies shall not, under any circumstances, be held liable for the misuse, abuse, fault, negligence, or wrongful acts of Purchaser or Purchaser’s employees, other contractors, or suppliers.

In no event shall Easton Technologies be liable in excess of the sales price of the part(s) or product(s) found defective.
